TAMWORTH BOROUGH COUNCIL

ELECTION OF A COUNCILLOR

FOR THE AMINGTON, BELGRAVE, BOLEHALL, CASTLE, GLASCOTE, MERCIAN, SPITAL, STONYDELPH, TRINITY and WILNECOTE WARDS
OF THE BOROUGH OF TAMWORTH

  1. An Election is to be held of one Councillor for each of the said wards.
  2. Nomination papers may be delivered to the Returning Officer at The Meeting Room, 8th Floor, Marmion House, Lichfield Street, Tamworth, Staffordshire, B79 7BZ on any weekday excluding weekends and bank holidays from Thursday 21 March between the hours of 10am and 4pm but not later than 4pm on Friday 5 April 2024.
  3. Nomination papers are available on https://www.tamworth.gov.uk/elections-2024 or may be obtained from the undersigned at Marmion House, Lichfield Street, Tamworth, Staffordshire, B79 7BZ.
  4. If the Election is contested, the poll will take place on Thursday 2 May 2024.
  5. Applications and requests about registration, postal and proxy voting must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at the above address by the following deadlines to be effective at this election.

Last day for applications to be included on the register of electors in order to vote in the election.
