Monumental stonemasons
Below is a list of stonemasons registered to work in Tamworth Borough Council’s cemeteries. They each meet the current fixing standards set out in the Code of Working Practice established by the National Association of Memorial Masons (www.namm.org.uk) and thereby ensuring that memorials are fixed to British Standard 8415.
The list is constantly updated and any mason can apply to join the scheme free of charge. Masons can also be removed from the list should they fail to comply with the scheme.
- Prices do vary, so it is advisable to obtain several quotes before placing an order.
- A minimum 10 year guarantee is offered by masons for their workmanship, however, you are strongly advised to purchase an insurance policy to safeguard your memorial.
