Tamworth Advice Centre

Citizens Advice Mid Mercia remains operational despite Marmion House being closed currently. Please contact us if you are are suffering financial hardship and need support for issues such as debts, benefits, housing, homelessness, consumer issues and relationship problems. Follow this link for a message from the team.

Due to Corona Virus and following government guidance, Citizens Advice Mid Mercia had to take the difficult decision to temporarily suspend all face to face appointments. All staff are now working to support the community from the safety of their own homes for the foreseeable future. We are still available to get help and advice via our Advice-line telephone which is open Monday – Friday 10:00-16:00. We are looking to put as many staff as we can on the phones to be able to help as many of you as we can during this difficult time.

Please be assured that we will continue to help all our clients as best as we can whilst considering the safety of our staff, volunteers and clients.

The debt and general advice service is based at Marmion House in Lichfield Street, renamed Tamworth Advice Centre and provided by Citizens Advice.Advice centre logo

The new provider has brought in a number of improvements, including a switch to an appointments system and more ways of access to the service for customers, including webchat and Skype.

Tamworth Advice Centre continues to use Marmion House. On arrival in reception, please go to Desk 8 or 9 and if there are no staff available there, please use the self service phone on the right and dial 819 to call the office for advice or an appointment. This internal number is answered between 10am and 4pm Monday to Thursday.

Free Digital Training

Digital Training is a free service provided by Citizen’s Advice Mid Mercia.   

We support clients of all ages, backgrounds and abilities with on-line learning using the Learn My Way platform.  

Digital Training supports members of the local community to have the IT skills to complete on-line applications and access to services, giving local residents the ability to regain control over their own circumstances and so to promote well-being.
