Hello and welcome, if you've arrived at that this page it’s likely you want to give us feedback. We'd like to encourage you as much as possible to tell us what you think of our services.

Complaints - A complaint may be about a lack of response, delays in service, ongoing problems and/or about behaviour of council employees. It includes –

  • Doing something wrong
  • Doing something that we should not have done
  • Failing to do something we should have done
  • Behaving unfairly, discourteously or discriminatory
  • Not carrying out a service to an agreed standard
  • Not replying to a request for service within its stated timescale

If your complaint concerns a councillor, please refer to the Governance and Anti-Fraud page.

You can make a complaint in person, online (by using the form below), by letter, by phone, email or fax. Any member of staff, or Councillor will take your complaint.

Compliments - Compliments are very welcome. We like to know what we are doing well. We share all compliments with the staff involved.

Suggestions - We listen and learn from suggestions as well as compliments and complaints. Comments about how we can alter or improve can lead to a change in process, policy, actions, activity, or literature and material. We think we're doing things right, so unless you tell us we may carry on doing the same. What you tell us can really make a difference, we can't change everything, but what we can - we will.
