Concerns for a child
Sometimes you might suspect that a child is at risk of harm or neglect. In other cases, you may know of a family who could benefit from some additional support and help to look after a child better.
If you believe a child to be at risk of immediate harm:
This must be reported to the Police on 999.
Once you have reported to the Police, please contact Staffordshire Families Integrated Front Door (IFD) urgently :
Call 0300 111 8033 during office hours (Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5pm and Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm)
Call 0345 604 2886 out of hours to speak to the Emergency Duty Service

This form allows you to share detailed information around your worries and upload any supporting documentation.
- Share them with a trusted source such as a Teacher or Police Officer.
- Report a concern through by calling 0300 1118007 and select option 1
- Contact Staffordshire Police on 101 – for emergencies dial 999.
