Let's get walking together and improve our wellbeing.
Walking, has a wide range of mental and physical benefits, so why not come down and join us
Beginners walks:
Please arrive 15 minutes before the walks.
Every Wednesday 10-11am
Meet at the Helping Hands Café opposite the council offices.
Every Thursday 1-2pm (starts 3 April)
Meet at the Tamworth Wellbeing and Cancer Support Centre, 44 Craven.
Every Friday 10-11am
Meet at the Assembly Rooms, Corporation Street.
After the walks, you will be able to purchase your favourite warm drink for £1 from the Helping Hands Café after Wednesdays walk, the Assembly Rooms after Fridays walk and tea and coffee available at the support centre after Thursdays walk (donations optional).
All walks are free to attend.

Time: 11.30am-1pm Where: St Peters Church, Hawksworth, Glascote Heath
Come and join our over 50’s free activities it’s a great way to stay active and socialise! Each week, you can spend some time enjoying a variety of activities at your own pace for example, badminton, indoor bowls, recreational darts and indoor putting. It’s the perfect opportunity to make new friends while having fun and keeping fit. Refreshments will be available.

Our social darts group brings together locals who love the sport of darts and enjoy good conversation and socialising with friends both new and old. No membership, no stress - just a fun way to unwind, make friends, and be part of a welcoming community. Everyone’s invited, from first-timers to old pros.
