Santa’s coming to Tamworth from 20 – 22 December with a new festive village at Holloway in Tamworth Castle Grounds!
Tamworth Borough Council are excited to announce that the big man himself will be set up in his own grotto along with Mrs Claus and real reindeer during the build up to Christmas Eve.
Families are invited to join the Christmas spirit with a visit to Santa’s Festive Village from Friday 20 December – Sunday 23 December. Booking is essential via: Whats on rv | Tamworth Arts and Events.
Time slots are available between 4pm – 7.30pm on Friday 20 December, and 11.30am – 4pm on Saturday 21 December and Sunday 22 December.
Tickets are priced at £5 per child and £1 per adult. Pre-booking essential.
Holloway will be transformed into a magical winter wonderland filled with festive experiences for all the family to enjoy.
The village will be beautifully decorated with lights, festive music and seasonal food and drinks available. There will also be a range of interactive activities, including a visit to Santa’s Grotto with a small gift for each child, real life reindeer, gingerbread decorating, and storytime with Mrs Claus.
During the experience, visitors are encouraged to capture this special family moment by taking a photo.
When booking tickets, children will need to be accompanied by an adult. Some of the village experience will be outside, so please do dress accordingly and be advised that dogs are not permitted within the village.
The real-life reindeers are onsite 4pm – 8pm on the Friday and 12pm – 4pm on Saturday and Sunday.
The month of December leading up to Christmas Day is a magical period and Tamworth, provides an idyllic location for a dreamy winter walk with a packed schedule of thrilling activities for the whole family.

Councillor Lewis Smith, portfolio holder for people services, leisure and engagement, said: “We’re delighted that Santa is arriving in town on 20 December for three special days, before he heads off on his travels Christmas Eve!
“I’d encourage families to book their tickets now to visit Santa, Mrs Claus and the live reindeer as we are confident Santa is going to be busy!
“We hope people will visit our town over the festive season to shop local and to support the local high street and join in with all the festivities. Don’t forget there is free parking in council run car parks on Saturday 22 December. However, the offer does not apply to the privately owned car parks.”
