From 19 January 2026, Tamworth Assembly Rooms ticket sales and Tamworth Information Centre will be available from Tamworth Borough Council’s front reception at Marmion House.
This brings visitor information and ticket services together with the existing customer service team in one convenient location.
Customers who prefer face to face support can visit Marmion House on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am to 2pm, and Thursday from 2pm to 6pm. The team will be able to help with ticket purchases, show enquiries, and all visitor information services.
Tickets will also still be available to purchase at Tamworth Assembly Rooms on show nights.
For those who book online or by phone, nothing changes – tickets remain available 24/7 at tamworthassemblyrooms.co.uk or by calling 01827 709 618 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm).
Councillor Lewis Smith, portfolio holder for people services, engagement, leisure and heritage, for Tamworth Borough Council, said: "By bringing the Assembly Rooms ticket sales and Tamworth Information Centre into Marmion House, we're creating a central hub where residents and visitors can access these services alongside our wider customer service support.
"We recognise that some people prefer face-to-face support, and this move maintains that while bringing services together in one location. Tickets will also still be available at the Assembly Rooms on show nights for anyone who wants to buy on the door. This change allows us to provide visitor information, ticket services, and council support all in one place."
The move is designed to make it easier for customers to access support in one place, while continuing to offer the full range of services previously available at Tamworth Assembly Rooms.
Customers will continue to have access to the full range of services, including show information, purchasing and collecting tickets, and making general enquiries. It will also allow customers to benefit from the added support and expertise of the wider customer service team.
